DOJ unsealed an indictment in October 2018 naming PRC MSS Jiangsu Province Bureau officers and recruited insiders at Safran's Suzhou JV who participated in a multi-year theft of CFM/LEAP turbofan-engine technology jointly developed by Safran and GE. Several JV employees later pleaded guilty.
