Deeper analysis
CVE-2025-10985 is an OS command injection vulnerability, tracked under CWE-78, that affects the admin panel of Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile (EPMM) in versions prior to 12.6.0.2, 12.5.0.4, and 12.4.0.4. The flaw received a CVSS 3.1 base score of 7.2 reflecting network attack vector, low attack complexity, and high impacts across confidentiality, integrity, and availability when successfully exploited.
A remote attacker who already possesses authenticated administrative access to the admin panel can supply crafted input that results in arbitrary operating system command execution on the underlying server. This grants the attacker full remote code execution capabilities within the context of the EPMM application.
The single referenced Ivanti security advisory covers this issue among multiple CVEs disclosed in October 2025 and directs administrators to upgrade affected EPMM instances to one of the listed fixed releases to eliminate the command injection vector. The associated EPSS score has remained flat at 0.0923 with no material increase observed since publication.
