This flaw can permit arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user and carries a CVSS 3.1 score of 7.8 reflecting local attack vector, low attack complexity, no privileges required, and required user interaction.
An attacker can leverage the issue by supplying a malicious PDF file that the victim must open. Successful exploitation grants the attacker the ability to run arbitrary code on the target system under the privileges of the logged-in user.
