CVE-2024-41825 is a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability (CWE-79) affecting the Code Inspection tab in JetBrains TeamCity versions prior to 2024.07. The flaw carries a CVSS 3.1 base score of 4.6 and permits an attacker to persist malicious script content that is later rendered for other users of the tab.
An authenticated user with low privileges can exploit the issue over the network by submitting crafted content that is stored and subsequently executed in the browser of a victim who views the affected tab, resulting in limited disclosure of information and modification of data within the victim's session context.
