Summary

CVE-2025-30032 is a high-severity SQL Injection (CWE-89) vulnerability in Siemens Telecontrol Server Basic. Its CVSS base score is 8.7 (High).

Operationally, ranked at the 23.3th percentile by exploit likelihood (below the median); it is not currently listed in the CISA KEV catalog.

Deeper analysis

A SQL injection vulnerability exists in Siemens TeleControl Server Basic versions prior to V3.1.2.2. The flaw resides in the internally used UpdateDatabaseSettings method and is tracked as CWE-89. An attacker who can reach TCP port 8000 can leverage the issue to bypass authorization, read from and write to the application's database, and execute code under the NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService account.

An authenticated remote attacker with network access to the affected system can exploit the injection to achieve these outcomes. The CVSS 4.0 score of 8.7 reflects the combination of network attack vector, low attack complexity, and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability without requiring user interaction.

The Siemens advisory SSA-443402 recommends upgrading to version V3.1.2.2 or later to address the vulnerability.

EPSS for the CVE rose from a low of 0.0008 to a peak of 0.0100, indicating emerging exploitation interest after disclosure.
