The Opal Estate Pro plugin for WordPress, used by the FullHouse Real Estate theme, contains a privilege escalation vulnerability in all versions through 1.7.5. The flaw stems from missing role restrictions in the on_regiser_user function, which allows arbitrary role assignment, including Administrator, during user registration. The issue is tracked as CWE-269 and carries a CVSS 3.1 score of 9.8.

Unauthenticated attackers can exploit the weakness over the network by submitting a crafted registration request that specifies any desired role. Successful exploitation grants full administrative control over the affected WordPress site, enabling arbitrary code execution, data access, and persistence.

The EPSS score has remained in the 0.26–0.28 range with no material upward trajectory after disclosure.
