The Startklar Elementor Addons plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion in all versions up to and including 1.7.13. The flaw stems from missing validation of the file path supplied during an upload-deletion operation, allowing path traversal (CWE-22) that can target any file on the server. The issue carries a CVSS 3.1 score of 9.1.
Unauthenticated attackers can send crafted requests to delete arbitrary files, including wp-config.php, which may enable site takeover or remote code execution.
