Summary

CVE-2025-12139 is a high-severity Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor (CWE-200) vulnerability in Wordpress (inferred from references). Its CVSS base score is 7.5 (High).

Operationally, ranked in the top 4.7% of CVEs by exploit likelihood; it is not currently listed in the CISA KEV catalog.

Deeper analysis

The File Manager for Google Drive – Integrate Google Drive with WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to sensitive information exposure in all versions up to and including 1.5.3 via the get_localize_data function. This exposes Google OAuth credentials including client_id and client_secret values along with associated Google account email addresses.

Unauthenticated attackers can exploit the flaw over the network without any privileges or user interaction to extract the credentials and emails, enabling potential abuse of the linked Google Drive integrations. The vulnerability is rated 7.5 under CVSS 3.1 with a high confidentiality impact.

References point to the vulnerable code paths in the plugin's class-enqueue.php file and a subsequent changeset that updated the plugin to address the exposure, along with a detailed entry in the Wordfence threat intelligence database.

The EPSS score rose materially from a low starting point to a peak of 0.3518 on 2026-01-13 before receding to the current value of 0.1810, indicating that exploitation interest emerged after disclosure.
