CVE-2025-64444 is an OS command injection vulnerability (CWE-78) present in NCP-HG100 firmware versions 1.4.48.16 and earlier. The flaw stems from improper neutralization of special elements in operating system commands, allowing crafted input to be executed by the underlying system.
An authenticated remote attacker who has obtained valid credentials for the product's management interface can exploit the issue to run arbitrary operating system commands with root privileges. The attack requires no user interaction and can be performed over the network, resulting in full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability on the affected device.
