CVE-2022-28732 is a cross-site scripting vulnerability (CWE-79) affecting the WeblogPlugin component of Apache JSPWiki. A carefully crafted request can trigger the flaw, which carries a CVSS 3.1 score of 6.1 and permits execution of JavaScript within the victim's browser.

An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit the issue by submitting a malicious request to a vulnerable JSPWiki instance. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to run arbitrary script in the victim's browser context and thereby obtain sensitive information about that victim.
