The vulnerability is a reflected cross-site scripting flaw (CWE-79) caused by improper neutralization of input during web page generation. It affects the WP-BusinessDirectory plugin for WordPress, developed by CMSJunkie, in all versions through 3.1.2.
An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit the issue by crafting a malicious URL and enticing a user to click it. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary scripts in the victim's browser within the context of the affected site, resulting in limited impacts to confidentiality, integrity, and availability as reflected in the CVSS 7.1 score.
