The affected component processes specially crafted project files, and the flaw carries a CVSS 3.1 score of 7.8 reflecting local attack vector, low complexity, no required privileges, and required user interaction.
An attacker can exploit the issue by supplying a malicious project file that the victim opens in DTM Soft. Successful exploitation grants arbitrary code execution on the target system with full impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
