Summary
CVE-2025-32828 is a high-severity SQL Injection (CWE-89) vulnerability in Siemens Telecontrol Server Basic. Its CVSS base score is 8.7 (High).

Deeper analysis
CVE-2025-32828 is an SQL injection vulnerability in Siemens TeleControl Server Basic versions prior to V3.1.2.2. The flaw exists in the internally used UpdateProjectCrossCommunications method and stems from insufficient input sanitization, allowing crafted queries to reach the application's database.
An authenticated remote attacker who can reach TCP port 8000 on a host running the affected software can exploit the issue to bypass authorization checks, read from and write to the database, and execute operating-system commands under the NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService account. The CVSS 4.0 score of 8.7 reflects network attack vector, low attack complexity, and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The Siemens advisory at https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/html/ssa-443402.html recommends upgrading to version V3.1.2.2 or later and restricting network access to port 8000 until the patch can be applied.
EPSS for the CVE rose from a low baseline to a recorded peak of 0.0100, indicating that exploitation interest appeared after disclosure and that the issue merits renewed monitoring.
