A SQL injection vulnerability exists in Siemens TeleControl Server Basic versions prior to V3.1.2.2, specifically within the internally used MigrateDatabase method. The flaw, tracked as CWE-89, permits an authenticated remote attacker with network access to port 8000 to bypass authorization controls, read from and write to the application database, and execute code under the NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService account. The issue carries a CVSS 4.0 score of 8.7.
An attacker who can reach the affected service on port 8000 may leverage the injection to escalate privileges within the database and achieve code execution on the host. No user interaction or additional privileges beyond valid authentication are required, and the attack can be performed over the network with low complexity.
