The vulnerability CVE-2025-6801 is a directory traversal flaw in the saveNICParamsToFile method of Marvell QConvergeConsole. It stems from missing validation of user-supplied paths before file operations, enabling arbitrary file writes on affected installations and carrying a CVSS 3.1 score of 7.5 under CWE-22.
Remote attackers require no authentication to exploit the issue and can create arbitrary files on the system in the context of the SYSTEM account.
