CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:HCVSS and EPSS are reproduced from their sources (NVD, FIRST EPSS). Risk Priority is our own derived reading, not an NVD score.
Summary
CVE-2026-56660 is a critical-severity CSRF (CWE-352) vulnerability. Its CVSS base score is 9.1 (Critical).
Operationally, exploitation aligns with the MITRE ATT&CK technique Command and Scripting Interpreter (T1059); ranked at the 43th percentile by exploit likelihood (below the median); it is not currently listed in the CISA KEV catalog.
The strongest mitigations our analysis identified map to AC-3 (Access Enforcement) and AC-4 (Information Flow Enforcement) — see the control section below for these in your framework.

without validating file types or extraction paths. Because PHP files are written into a web-accessible directory, an attacker who can cause a malicious archive to be processed achieves remote code execution as the web-server user. Entry names are also used unsafely, allowing directory traversal (../) to write files outside the intended extraction directory. This issue has been patched in version 1.5.

Mitigating Controls (NIST 800-53 r5) AI
Access enforcement requires verifying that state-changing requests originate from the authenticated user rather than a forged cross-site source.
Information flow enforcement can restrict which destinations the server is allowed to contact on behalf of users.
Least functionality restricts the file types and automatic processing capabilities the system will accept.
Mobile-code controls define, authorize, and block unacceptable uploaded code before automatic processing occurs.
Protecting session authenticity prevents attackers from replaying or forging authenticated requests via the victim's browser.
Boundary protection limits the network reach of server-initiated requests even if SSRF occurs.

Runtime monitoring of web applications and services can detect anomalous outbound requests indicative of SSRF.
Vulnerability identification processes can discover and record SSRF flaws in web applications.
Network segmentation and egress controls can limit the damage from successful SSRF requests.
Hardened configuration baselines can enforce allowed file types and processing rules.
Restricting execution of unauthorized software directly blocks dangerous uploaded files from running.
Secure SDLC practices directly require anti-CSRF controls such as tokens or SameSite attributes.
